Studio Room Policies  

Know what to expect FROM Simple Blends of Health and what I expect of you.

The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and regular clients of

Simple Blends of Health.

Appointment Procedure

  • All appointments at Simple Blends of Health are by appointment only. I DO NOT take walk-ins.

  • Please arrive for your appointment no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled time. Parking is available on the street or in the driveway of property (centre right of driveway).

  • All clients must wear indoor socks/slippers when entering the property (either your own or ones supplied, that are washed and re-used by Simple Blends of Health).

  • All treatment sessions have a specific time scheduled, therefore I regret that late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments and will be shortened with a full charge of treatment booked. 

  • All first time appointments must complete an intake form before a session. For ongoing appointments, a client will be asked to confirm details and if any changes need to be made such as new medications.

  • All appointments need to be confirmed 24 hours in advance. 

Cancellation Policy

  • I value your business and ask that you respect Simple Blends of Health policies. Should you need to cancel or change your appointment, I require a minimum 24 hours notice. This must be done via email to me to request a change, this allows me enough time to try and fill your appointment space.  This is out of respect to me, as I have planned my schedule around your appointment. It is also out of respect for other clients who are looking to schedule appointments.

  • If you do not cancel your appointment BEFORE the 24 hours of your appointment time I have the right to refuse any further appointment bookings from you and charge your deposit.  (Includes: No Show, Late Cancellation, and Unconfirmed Appointments)

 

Children/extra

  • Clients may NOT bring children to their appointment. (exception of new born baby for moms having Reflexology)

  • Clients may NOT bring an extra person to their appointment unless they are staying seated in own vehicle.

Privacy policy

  • Your intake records are kept in the strictest confidence by Simple Blends of Health. 

  • All client records are kept in a secure place and only those who need to see a client’s file for professional purposes have access to them as per the Privacy Act. Neither your records nor your treatments will be released to your spouse/partner or third parties without your written consent. Records may be surrendered if required by law. 

  • Client relationship is kept professional and confidential. As per the Privacy Act, I am not allowed to share any information regarding your treatments with your spouse/partner or friends.

Other Clinic Policies

  • Keep me informed of any current medical conditions or any changes before each session, it is your responsibility to keep Simple Blends of Health informed. 

  • Your treatment time includes time for assessment and discussion of your session.

  • Please do not wear perfume or jewelry; these should be left at home. Simple Blends of Health is not responsible for any losses.

  • If any pain or discomfort is experienced during the treatment, please communicate with me right away. 

  • Simple Blends of Health have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY in regard to sexual advances towards staff. This type of behavior will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate discharge from the property. 

  • Simple Blends of Health have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY towards clients who use disrespectful language, any form of harassment and any threatening speech or abusive behavior towards staff. Clients will be discharged from the property immediately.

  • An appointment will not proceed if the client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  The deposit will be charged and the client asked to leave the property.  

  • I have the right to refuse an appointment or cancel any appointment without notice and return deposit.

  • Deposit is to be paid by E-Transfer and balance payable after your session time via Cash or E-Transfer.
